HELLO BIG WORLD!

WOW! its been quite some time since i last blogged! haha well what you guys have missed from my absence and slacking nature, I have turned 18! im graduating high school in 5 days and i gained some inner strength and courage to talk to a boy! (GASP) haha Yes, i did and were "talking"! oh the joys of teenage years! and summer has officially started! EXCITED FOR SUMMER NIGHTS AND GLORIOUS MORNINGS! AHHHH! BEST SUMMER OF MY LIFE BEGINS NOW, (actually it started already but for dramatic effect) BEGINS NOW, yet again! WOOOOOHOOO!

I'm in need of some rest! this week has been quite busy! boot camp, school, work, boot camp, school, work, boot camp....ah! craziness, i love working and working out and school is ok but its just wearing me out, thankfully the Lord is my rock and when i need to rest, i can rest in him! Gosh, he is soo good!

Well exciting weekend ahead! Tomorrow is the start of THRIVE as well as My friend's band is playing at The channel! Then saturday is THRIVE all day! yay for a fun weekend with my best of friends! also a thanks to Nicki, she left both sophie and I off for the weekend! thank you!

CRAVE

So at youth group sunday night, i was insecure about my body! most of the time i feel FAT and i blame not having a boyfriend on it! But after Matt spoke about how everyone gives in to soul cravings in diguise(self image, sexual immorality).

I feel much better about my self! i think less of how i look to others and focus more on what He thinks of me, Beautiful! He made me in his image and i should be proud of how He made me. And now i am! Culture these days says that women should be skinny with large boobs and tan skin and always has a man by her side! Absolutely NOT! That is not what the image of god is!

Today is a beautiful day. I just want to go swimming now!

Yes, its finally perfect outside! Warm, Sunny, a little breezy and most importantly i work! Ugh.

Yesterday i was down in the dumps! i felt fat and unwanted. Then this morning i remembered that Jesus made me in his image, and through his eyes, he sees a BEAUTIFUL creation! Thank you Lord for showing myself through your eyes!

I'm going to make today a fun day!

hello there...

I stayed home from school today because I'm sick! i watched stepfather, which was a terrible movie! it seemed like a mix of movies, mainly Disturbia and Obsessed!

So prom is coming up in like two months and people have already gotten there dresses and prom dates, i feel very.....very....late! I don't want to end up without a date just like last year! I felt like i made the pictures very off and of course i made the best of it, but i cant help that i just want to feel wanted by peers.

I don't have much to say today, just like every other day!

I never have anything interesting to say! I'm not creative word wise, I'm more of a artsy person.
So as the last post said spirit week started and i have been super pumped to raise a lot of money for Pendleton place. And Friday was kick off to this awesome week. Saturday i helped set up for stampede for hope, and at first i didn't really want to be there and in my head all I thought about was myself until I realized as i was cleaning my room, that it wasn't if I was warm enough or awake enough to help cause I have a house to sleep in that is heated and clean and i can sleep whenever i want, but the pendleton kids didn't have that til they got to pendleton place and so that's why i was helping in the first place...Thank You Lord, Thank You for providing in my life, providing everything I need to be successful. I just want to be your hands and feet!!!
Anyways, after working I went to a Rave, which was awesome. ha ha, it was crazy with all the bright colors and flashing lights! it was a blast and a great event to have my senior year of high school!
Thanks to wonderful Sheila, who made some wonderful heart cookies! thank you! they were delicious!
Now today, its super bowl Sunday and where am i spending it, I don't know exactly! I helped set up for the senior citizen ball today for spirit week and it was fantastic,I hope all the seniors like it!

So today was THE DAY! SPIRIT WEEK 2010 has OFFICIALLY BEGUN! im so excited to participate in Powderpuff at my school! its only three days away!

I have quite a busy week ahead of me, there are so many events for spirit week im either in or helping! you should come see me! yay!

stuck in the house

I'm stuck in the house! how terrible. I tried to think of something to do but Nada, nothing! I did Some Reading for Newthru30, got ready not realizing there would be nothing to do! I think ill go play in the ice, What a JOKE?

I also think i found the prom dress i want! I LOVE IT!
